Sally Tucker

Sally has been a full-time resident of Cape Cod since the summer of 1987, when she married professional photographer and owner of Focalpoint Studio in Orleans, Bob Tucker.

Prior to moving to the Cape she lived with her two children, Lee Wareham, 40, and Anne Wareham, 37, in Guilford, CT, while holding an executive position with a national title insurance company and managing an office in New Haven, CT.

Sally was part-owner of Party Magic in Orleans in the early 90’s.  When economic indications were grim for party stores, the business was closed, and she took a position with the Orleans Chamber of Commerce as Administrator, running the office and carrying out duties imposed by the Board of Directors, a 20-hours-per-week position.  It was during that time that Pops in the Park was conceived, and she acted as Secretary for that Committee as well.

Seeking full-time employment, in 1992 she took a job in the Rental Department of Bay Village Realty/Better Homes & Gardens (now Kinlin Grover/GMAC Real Estate) in Brewster, and worked as a Rental Agent in Brewster, then Orleans, until 1996.

Since June of 1996, Sally has been a full-time REALTOR®, working out of Kinlin Grover’s Orleans office, where she has been a consistent, multi-million-dollar-per-year agent every year, #1 among all real estate agents in Orleans in 2001.

She is starting her fourth year as a member of the Board of Directors of the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Christmas in Orleans Committee, and as a liaison from the Board to the Town of Orleans 4^th of July Celebration Committee.  In the past, she has also served on Boards of Cape Rep Theatre in Brewster and the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans.

Her love of animals has resulted in many adoptions over the past 21 years, through the Brewster branch of the Animal Rescue League of Boston, as well as through other private organizations.  She’s had 5 beautiful cats, all having lived to 15+ years of age; 5 wonderful dogs, also long-lived and well-loved; and currently has two Yorkies, “Archie” and “Matilda”, both rescued through private sources.  It was because she would rather have her pets cared for in her own home that she hit upon the idea of offering that service to others who feel the same way about their pets.
